2026 Dog License Reminder and Information

The State of Maine requires that dogs be licensed in the town of residence of the owner. Dog licenses expire on December 31st of each year.  New or renewed registration must occur at the Weld Town Office (23 Mill Street, Weld) prior to January 31st of the year or an additional late fee of $25 will be imposed. 

Cribbage Group

Weld Recreation Committee will be hosting cribbage groups twice a month.

Transfer Station - Not Accepting Brush for Disposal

As of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the Town of Weld Transfer Station is no longer accepting brush for disposal. 

2025 Property Tax Commitment

2025 Property Tax Maps and the latest property tax assessment information for properties in Weld are now available on the Town's website.

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS - 2026 Town of Weld Free State Park Passes Program

DEADLINE: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 The Town is now accepting applications for Designated Passes.  

2025 State Park Passes Application Results

The application process for the 2025 State Park Passes Program is closed. If you applied for a park pass, please contact Colleen Stewart (treasurer@weld-maine.org) or go to the Town Office to collect your pass.
