Recycling Note
Effective May 21st, 2025 Weld is a single source recycler: glass, plastic, and metals for recycling are now all to be placed in the same bin. Sortation will take place at the provider's facility. Waste Oil is no longer accepted: use the following link for locations which accept waste oil: https://www.maine.gov/dep/waste/wasteoil/documents/morpdir.pdf
Weld Transfer Station Fees
- No charge for metals (refrigerators, stoves etc.)
- Free area May to October. Please check with the Attendant

Upon 30 days of receipt of bill, overdue accounts at the transfer station will be charged interest of 7.5% per annum, plus an administrative charge of $10
